Gratitude
There’s a popular saying that says “You don’t know what you have until you lose it” which strikes me with inner reflection. Am I grateful for what I have? Am I really grateful?
So here's a question from me to you.
Why are you an ungrateful person? Do you think it is by your might and strength that you get to see another day?
Why have you allowed yourself to be thrown into sorrows and anxiety by your inability to be wealthy that you forget to say thank you for the little you have achieved and the breath you have?
Must every day of your life be about becoming wealthy and accomplishing greatness?
Every now and then you nag and lament over little things. Even when you make and accomplish little you still nag. Obviously, humans are insatiable creatures.
Hey, hey, have you gone out? Have you taken your time to visit those in the hospital? Let's not even talk about those in the morgue. Have you been to the street? The bridges, the dustbin? Have you gone out? I don't think so, because if you have, you will learn to be grateful for the little you have and even for the grace to wake up.
Hey, show gratitude for the little things you have because gratitude comes with contentment and contentment comes with peace of mind.
Learn to be grateful for what you have.
